Interlayer made of a synthetic material,
- polyvinyl  butyral (PVB),
- ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA)
- ethylen copolymer (Ionomère)

used to assemble glass panes and to manufacture laminated glazing.
 
  • Use in CEKAL certified laminated glazing
An interlayer must have been subjected to the following tests: infrared and in assembled glazing; bake test; initial tenacity; adhesion, both initial and after 4000 hrs UV; yellowing, both initial and after 4000 hrs UV; light transmission, both initial and after 4000 hrs UV; lab colorimetry, both initial and after 4000 hrs UV; mechanical impedance (acoustic interlayers) and loss factor (stiff interlayers).
